History
Founded
in 1975, privately held Zircon Corporation began as a manufacturer
of digital watches, and owned the Fairchild Channel-F video
game division.
In 1980, Zircon established the wall scanning category with
invention of StudSensor™, the world’s first
electronic stud finder. Twenty-five years later and with
25 million units sold, Zircon remains the leader in technology
and innovation. In 2004, Zircon introduced the very newest
technology in wall scanning – CenterVision™
technology finds the center of studs with just one pass.

and the Pacific Rim. In the United States alone, Zircon
products are sold in more than 50,000 retail outlets.
International
Zircon products have worldwide appeal and are currently
available in 30 countries and the U.S. Zircon has full-time
sales and marketing staff in Canada, Europe, and Japan.
