Stop & Go
International Inc
Stop
& Go International was founded on January 1, 1980. While
working part time at United Airlines,
Bill Merriman developed the very first complete motorcycle
tire repair kit. Up that point the tools, materials, and
inflation devices were all available, but no one combined
these essentials together in a affordable unit until the
Stop & Go kit was created.
The
concept was presented to Harley-Davidson in 1984 and they
agreed to have us clone the original kit into a private
label kit for their accessory line. Soon after, Yamaha Corporation
had us develop a kit for them too.
As
the All Terrain Vehicle market matured and exponentially
expanded it was only natural that there would be a Stop
& Go kit for off-road use. Staying true to the original
concept, all of our kits selling in the power sports industry
are designed to prevent being stranded either on the road
or in the wideness.
Today,
we produce private label tire repair kits for Cabela's,
Global Motorsports, Eaglerider, Aero-Design, Cruz Tools,
and Yamaha, True Value's Induserve, and E-Z-GO Golf Cars
and Utility Vehicles.
Our
products are distributed by J.C. Whitney, Lab Safety Supply
owned by W.W. Grainger, Foley-Belsaw Corp. and in addition,
Russo's Ace Hardware & Power Equipment in Chicago has
sold our Standard Model Tire Plugger for the past eight
years.
The
Stop & Go — Tire Plugger and Pocket Tire Plugger
has a wide application as the unique shape of the mushroom
plugs can be used on any tubeless tire. As we move forward,
we are seeking further distribution for these items.
