Phifer
Wire Products, Inc. was established in 1952 in Tuscaloosa,
Alabama, as a weaver of aluminum insect screening. Today,
the company is the world's largest producer of aluminum
and fiberglass insect screening products. In addition to
screening, the company also manufactures and supplies a
broad line of related products including exterior and interior
sun control fabrics, vinyl-coated polyester fabric for use
in outdoor furniture, aluminum round wire, vent mesh, vinyl-coated
yarns and other related woven wire products.
All
Phifer products are manufactured in our state-of-the-art
facilities in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Stocking warehouses and
sales offices are located in City of Industry, California;
Dallas, Texas; Salt Lake City, Utah; Clearwater, Florida;
Chicago, Illinois; Honolulu, Hawaii; Borgo Ticino, Italy
and Kyongsan, Korea to offer quick and convenient delivery.
In addition, the Phifer fleet of trucks delivers our products
direct to all major ports for exporting.
Phifer
products are also exported to over 100 countries worldwide,
and Phifer's International Marketing Department has over
30 years experience in the procedures, packing and shipping
methods for prompt and efficient export shipments. Phifer's
International Department produces literature in 13 different
languages to better assist our International customers.
Phifer's staff speaks over 10 languages to provide crucial
communication with all of our customers. The Phifer team
works hard to communicate product specifications, availability,
and shipping schedules to achieve the Phifer Mission- To
Serve Customers.
In
recognition of outstanding export sales, Phifer was presented
the prestigious Presidential "E" Award in 1984
and the "E Star" Award in 1996.
