COMPANY INFORMATION
Meter-Man,
Inc. is a privately held corporation
in Winnebago, Minnesota. The company was founded by Lyle
Stevermer in 1963 after the U.S. Inventors Congress names
him "Grand Champion".
Mr.
Stevermer earned this coveted title with an automatic feed
weighing device for livestock, which became the company's
first product and inspired the Meter-Man name and logo.
Meter-Man
has grown from these rural beginnings three and a half decades
ago to become a manufacturer today who markets products
to more than thirty-five countries around the world.
Well-stocked,
international warehouses contribute to Meter-Man recently
being recognized as "1997 Exporter of the Year"
by the Minnesota Small Business Administration.

Distance Measuring Wheels
"Meter-Man"
distance measuring wheels quickly and accurately measure
linear distances up to 10,000 meters. Wheels are available
with innovative new digital electronic counters measuring
both feet or meters. Six available diameters range from
4" to 25" or 10 cm to 63 cm. Convenient kickstands
are standard on the four larger models. Impact-resistant
and corrosion-resistant materials are used throughout. All
models feature twist-and-lock telescoping aluminum handles.
Meter-Man measuring wheels are made in the USA and backed
by a Full Lifetime Warranty. Distributors and agents are
