of quality rubber and TPE products. Established in 1912,
Lavelle is a privately held company with approximately 200
hourly and salaried employees. The main industries served
by Lavelle include: Plumbing 30%, Healthcare 20%, Electronics
15%, Automotive 15%, Appliance 5% and other 5%.
Leading
custom molder and fabricator of rubber and thermoplastics
utilizing injection, compression, and transfer molding processes,
lathe cut and die cut. Base rubbers include Natural, SBR,
EPDM, Nitriles, Neoprenes, Butyl. Thermoplastic Materials
processed include EVA, SEBS, EPIPP and polyurathanes. FDA
and NSF listed compounds including Chlorazone and Chlorazone
61 which are chemically resistant rubbers approved to ANSI/NSF
Standard 61, developed for plumbing and water service application.
Our
custom division produces, rubber and thermoplastic products.
Molded, Lathe Cut, Die Cut, Extruded materials such as,
base rubbers: nitrile, chloroprene, SBR, natural, butyl,
silicone, EPDM, flouroelastome, urethene, also, thermoplastic
resins: EVA, SEBS, EP?PP, polyurethanses (hard and soft).
Lavelle is the sole manufacturer of Chlorazone ®
and Chlorazone ® 61. Chlorazone ®
was developed by Lavelle Industries to resist chloramines
and other chemical additives found or put into our water
supply.
Our
plumbing aftermarket division sells our Korky Flappers,
Plungers, washers, gaskets and other plumbing and hardware
specialties to the trade and DIY markets through hardware
and plumbing wholesale, and retail distribution chains.
Our Korky ® flapper tankball is the number
one selling replacement flapper in the U. S.
